With 133 votes, Twins Alex and Molly walk away with the prize!  But…everyone is a winner!  I’ll be sending each family in the top 20 a signed 8×10!!!  There were so many more portraits that I have taken over the past year that I wish I could have shown them all!  I look forward to the next year of photographing so many wonderful children and families! It is such a blessing for me to be a part of so many people’s lives, even if just for a brief moment in time. Through the camera I feel like I am connected to each one!

Thanks so much to each and every person that voted for your favorite portrait! It was such a blessing to get to know each child and family a little more through the kind words of those who love them!  Debbie, who voted on TuTu Cute is the winner of the free session (Oxford/Memphis/Tupelo)!  I’ll be contacting her by email.

And – be on the lookout.. this was so much fun I think we will do it again, perhaps for 2008 and maybe best Christmas card!  So – more chances to win!  Be sure to follow me on Facebook to stay up to date.

By the way… it was a very close race!  Baby Ella Leigh and TuTu cute can in a close second and third!

Top 20 – Gerber Baby…

February 2, 2010

This is one of my very favorites!!  I just love the colors – the green chair with his bright blue eyes, and those cheeks!!! My wonderful step-mother made me several knit hats to use for babies and I love how it frames his sweet little face!

I’ve been photographing these two adorable girls for several years and I have loved watching them grow! They remind me so much of me and my sister so every session brings back sweet memories!  I love this playful portrait with a vintage texture.

Top 20 – Little models…

February 2, 2010

I think these two look like little J. Crew models!  I had a lot of fun photographing them in downtown Arlington, TN.  Not only do they look like little models, but they were a breeze to photograph! So handsome!

Top 20 – Old Taylor…

February 2, 2010

This was a great session! Another one where I love every image!  Dad proposed to mom at Taylor Grocery, so what a perfect place for family portraits!  The amazing colors paired with adorable boys make this a favorite!

Top 20 – Sweet Sisters…

February 2, 2010

These two sweet sisters are always adorable to photograph!  Big sister is always on the go and in to everything according to mom – she is always an angel when I’m around!  I laugh every time I look at the picture of her falling over from laughing so hard! Next is newborn Collier.  This is one of my favorite baby portraits! I love the colors in her room.

Top 20 – Adorable…

February 1, 2010

If you’ve been to my website – you’ve seen this little girl…a lot.  I think I could make a whole website from just her pictures! These are just a few of my favorites from a few different sessions and over 500 pictures!

Top 20 – Lucky in love…

February 1, 2010

Even with three kids in the family, my absolute favorite image from the session is when I got mom and dad alone! They were talking and laughing and I captured this intimate moment.  Can’t you just feel the love between them!

This is likely one of my favorite sessions to date! I’ve photographed Drew several times, but this time he really seemed to shine.  We were on the Square (my favorite place to photograph!) Drew has an amazing model-like look when he is serious.  He is only 5 or 6 and has such a great look!  But, I found a trick to crack him up, so we got a lot of fun shots to go along with the serious!!  I love the shots with mom too! We made a great coffee table book from the session.

Quite simply – I just love these pictures.  I love the color, her eyes, here tongue and the pearls.  She is just a beautiful baby!! About that tongue – it was quite hard to  take a picture without her tongue sticking out!  I think she was teething or maybe had just discovered how fun it was to stick it out!!

Top 20 – Tutu Cute…

February 1, 2010

I think every one of this baby’s 150 images was to die for! She was an absolute doll!  Their home had beautiful architectural and decorative features that made great backgrounds. The neatest part is that I photographed her mommy and daddy’s wedding a few years ago! They were a beautiful bride and groom – no surprise at all to have such a beautiful baby! It is a really  neat experience for me to get to watch and be a part of so many people’s lives.

Top 20 – Bella Vintage…

February 1, 2010

This is a new look from Bella Vie – Vintage! I add different shades of color, bw and sepia along with some great textures.  I love the look of all of Ann Lawson’s portraits.  Had a hard time deciding which is my favorite! I love the middle two – but bottom left with the dress pulled up always makes me laugh! Ask for more information if you are interested in vintage portraits.
